Fixing the problem of selecting more than one photos for Mac

Danilo Bianchi 3 min read

We all know how to select one photo at a time on our Mac computers – simply click on the photo you want to select. But what if you want to select more than one photo? This can be done by using a few simple keyboard shortcuts.

Click on the photo you want to select

Once you’ve selected the photos you want, you can delete them, move them, or copy them just like you would with any other file on your computer. There are two ways to select photos:

  • Method 1: Click on the first photo you want to select, then hold down the Shift key and click on the last photo you want to select. All of the photos in between will be selected.
  • Method 2: Click on the first photo you want to select, then hold down the Command key (which is also known as the “Apple” key) and click on each additional photo you want to select.

How to select multiple pictures on mac

To select multiple photos that are next to each other, simply click on the first photo you want to select, then hold down the “Shift” key and click on the last photo you want to select. All of the photos in between will also be selected. Click on the first photo you want to select, then hold down the “Command” key (which is also known as the “Apple” key) and click on each of the other photos you want to select.

If you want to select all of the photos in a given folder, simply click on the first photo, then hold down the “Command” key and the “A” key at the same time. All of the photos will be selected. You can also use these keyboard shortcuts to select multiple photos in other applications, such as iPhoto and Preview.

How to delete duplicate photos on your Mac

If you have duplicate photos on your computer, you can easily delete them using the built-in “Photos” app. Simply launch the “Photos” app and click on the “File” menu. Then, select “New Album.” Enter a name for your new album and click “OK.”

Now, drag all of the duplicate photos into the new album. Once you’ve added all of the photos you want to delete, click on the “Edit” menu and select “Select All.” Once all of the photos are selected, press the Delete key on your keyboard and click “Delete Album.” This will delete all of the duplicate photos from your computer.

How to move or copy photos

If you want to move or copy photos from one location to another, you can do so using the Finder. Simply launch the Finder and navigate to the folder that contains the photos you want to move or copy. Then, select the photos you want to move or copy and press the “Command” key and the “C” key at the same time to copy them.

To move the photos, press the “Command” key and the “V” key at the same time. This will move the selected photos to the location you copied them from. You can also use these keyboard shortcuts to move or copy photos in other applications, such as iPhoto and Preview.
