Military Time for iPhone Displayed Easily

Danilo Bianchi 3 min read

A lot of people don’t know how to read military time. If you’re one of those people, or if you have a family member or friend who is in the military and needs to be able to read military time, this blog post is for you! I’m going to show you how to display military time on your iPhone very easily so that you can understand it and use it when needed. Stay tuned!

What is military time and why should you use it on your iPhone

Military time is a way of expressing hours of the day using a 24-hour clock, rather than the more familiar 12-hour clock. The advantage of using military time is that it avoids ambiguity by clearly indicating whether an event is taking place in the morning or evening. For example, 14:00 (2:00 PM) is clearly the afternoon, whereas 2:00 PM could be either morning or afternoon. While military time may seem confusing at first, it is actually quite simple to use.

Each hour of the day is expressed as a two-digit number, with 00 representing midnight and 23 representing 11 PM. So, if you wanted to set an alarm for 7 AM, you would simply enter 07:00 into your iPhone’s clock app. With a little practice, you’ll be using military time like a pro in no time!

how to put military time on iphone

There are two main ways to put military time on your iPhone. The first is to change the format of the clock in the Settings app. To do this, open the Settings app and tap on “General.” Next, tap on “Date & Time.” Under the “Time Format” section, select “24-Hour Time.” This will change the clock on your home screen to military time. The second way to put military time on your iPhone is to use the Clock app.

In the Clock app, tap on the “World Clock” tab. Then, scroll down to the “Other Clocks” section and tap on the “+” button. Enter the name of a city in the “Label” field and select the city from the list that appears. Finally, tap on the “Done” button. This will add a new clock to your World Clock tab that shows the current time in that city. You can also swipe left or right on the clock to see different times zones.
